History of the City
Carlingwood Shopping Centre first opened in 1956 with 40 stores and was one of Ottawa's first major shopping centres. It was also one of the biggest shopping centres in Ottawa at the time of it's opening. Today it is now home to 120 stores with 525,934 sq ft of retail space.
